Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026 · Univibe Technologies Limited, Nairobi, Kenya

This policy explains what Univibe ("we", "us") collects from users of the Univibe app and website, how we use it, and the rights you have under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use it

3. Crushes stay secret

Crushes are anonymous by design. Another user learns your identity only if you crush each other back in the same week. Our team never reveals crushes.

4. Who else sees data

5. Your rights (Kenya DPA 2019)

You may: access your data, correct it, delete your account (in-app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account; hidden immediately, permanently removed after 20 days), object to processing, and complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC). To exercise any right, contact us below — we reply within 30 days.

6. Children

Univibe is for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Data security & storage

Data travels encrypted and is stored with access controls. Verification ID photos are used only for approval. No system is perfect — if a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.

8. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
